Professional and Industry Experience

Omid has served some of his top clients in power and utilities, information and communication technology, government, health, and education in the following areas:

  • Assisting at various stages of business and finance transformation initiatives including the development of strategic visions, roadmaps, designing business processes, ERP selection, implementation of ERP, EDW, BI
  • Investigating emerging initiatives such as SaaS and cloud in creating competitive advantage
  • Analyzing current IT delivery costs, determining service delivery model alternatives, formulating end of term strategy, defining service levels, and serving as the trusted advisor for IT outsourcing (end-to-end lifecycle)
  • Provision of research and assistance in assessing and formulating strategies for government assets
  • Leading the IT component of a due diligence and valuation initiative of a global transaction
  • Designing and implementing a post-merger integration program (ERP, BW, and Consolidation system)
  • Designing and implementing the divestiture of a major business unit

  • Setup of cyber policies, procedures, definition of risk tolerance, identification and measurement of risks, and development of reports to the Board’s Audit and Risk Committee on the overall cyber security performance
  • Development of enterprise-wide procedures, agreements, and negotiation of contracts to ensure that the acquisition of new products and services is consistent with policies, regulations, and legal obligations
  • Leading the systems and processes workstreams of several IFRS conversion projects
  • Auditing the design and effectiveness of controls, integrated business solutions (incl. SAP, PeopleSoft, and Oracle) in support of Financial Statement, Integrated Audit Programs, and SOX compliance audits.
